A couple of weeks ago I went to Thornton Manor to do the makeup for the bride Kate who was marrying her Sweetheart Richard in the very prestigious House at Thornton Manor.

Kate booked me to do the makeup for herself and her Mother, something I don’t normally do as I have minimum booking, however it was out of season and mid week.

She was marrying Richard who is the other half of the classical/operatic duo Richard and Adam who were part of Britain’s Got Talent several years ago.

Her first look was a natural day look using browns and gold tones from my Charlotte Tilbury palette and for her base I used my fave base of Laura Mercier Silk Crème we kept the lips natural using a lovely nude toned lip.

I then returned to the manor before the evening reception to create a second look for her and this was to amplify the liner, and to add a spot of shimmer and glitter into the centre of the eye.  I added a touch more highlight and blush and then her lips I opted for a brick red lip colour.  Whilst doing the evening Makeup I could hear Adam practising in his room above to sing at the evening reception.  If was beautiful to hear.

Her gown was a full lace form fitting, with a belt and it looked gorgeous on her slim frame.

The wedding was also featured in the local Newspaper in Flintshire where I live as Richard coming from Holywell.

I wish Kate and Richard all the happiness in the world and thank Kate for choosing me for her big day.
