Earlier this year I did the makeup for Sara for her wedding at Crabwall Manor near Chester.
I met with Sara before Christmas for her trial and she very much wanted to keep the skin and eyes natural, we discuss a brighter lip but she wasn’t sure and left wearing a nude lip.
Fast forward to her wedding day, she expressed a keenness to now wear a red lip on her day because for her hen party she wore it and loved how much it suited her.
I am so glad she went for it, I am a huge fan of red or bold lips on a bride because its such and elegant contrast against the ivory gown. Her dress being pure glamour being a strapless lace fishtail gown with diamante and sparkle. She is a stunning girl and the look I created on her was really red carpet.
Her eyes I used Too faced peach palette with nude pigment from peaches makeup, I lined the eye on top and bottom with Inglot Gel liner in black, I added Eylure lashes in Cheryl for real flutter and fullness. Her base was Airbase Airbrush and blush by Charlotte Tilbury in Las Salinas. Her lips were lined with a liner from Peggy Sage and I used a Smashbox gloss which was the brides own.
I am sure you will agree that she looked stunning and the brief I was finally given was met.
