Yesterday saw a return to the very beautiful Thornton Manor for the wedding of Rachel to Neil.

She married in the main house on the Estate which is just beautiful and the most perfect wedding setting.

Rachel booked me for my Gold package which consists of Bridal Makeup for her and the wedding party in the morning, then I stayed on site to assist in touch-ups and top ups whilst she was having her photos taken.  Then after her wedding reception and before her evening celebrations began I changed her look from Day to a more glamorous evening style.

For her day look she wanted a very natural peachy looks and I used to create this look, on her eyes I used my peach Too faced palette and blended several shades into the eye socket and crease to create a subtle smoke effect.  Her base I used Airbase Makeup in shade 03 and a few drops of 04, she is naturally olive in skin tone with having Portuguese roots.  I used MAC Bronzer to add a subtle bronze and her cheeks I used a peach blush from Illamasqua with Peggy Sage Code highlight in peche.  Her light contour was created using Charlotte Tilbury, Bronze and Glow and lips my fave lipstick blushing bride from Love Honour and be true.

Her Bridesmaids wore the most amazing gowns in a blush pink with a bodice of lace and champagne sequins, I therefore wanted to pick up the tones of the gowns.  Late last year I purchased a Charlotte Tilbury Palette called Legendary Muse which has pink and rose gold tones, I used this in the socket crease and to pick up on the champagne tones in the bodice I placed a pigment called Disco from Peaches Makeup in the centre of the eye to create a spotlight smoke.

Rachel’s evening look was all about adding some drama to her look, her gown was truly stunning, and very modern with a slight blush tone to it.  I refreshed her base and topped up her blush adding more highlight and the eye I intensified the outer corner into the crease using my Kat Von Dee Palette using a chocolate brown, into the centre of the eye I added a shine by using Champagne Wishes from Lit Glitter, this tone is perfect for adding a bit of drama.  I added more liner to the eye using my Inglot shade 77 gel liner.  On her lips I used Love Story from Love Honour and be True which is a lovely blue toned red and in centre of lip I used a gloss from Lime Crime called Candy Apple.

Gorgeous day and am lucky to work at such a spectacular venue like Thornton Manor so often.  It is really the ultimate wedding venue in Cheshire.

She used a great selection of high calibre local suppliers for her day.
